Richards Equipment Inc. is a company rich in history and tradition. We have been and will continue to service the agricultural and construction industries of York Region and Simcoe County for many decades.

1930's: Chas Richards & Sons Limited opens in the backyard of Charles & Ruth Richards home in Agincourt Ontario; selling and servicing International Harvester.

1950's: When the city grew, Chas. Richards & Sons Ltd. moved to their Main Street Stouffville, Ontario location.

1960's: Chas. Richards & Sons Ltd. expanded. Opening a second location in the south end of Barrie.

1970's: Chas. Richards & Sons Ltd. (Barrie) moves to their current north end Barrie location.

1985: With the merger of International Harvester and Case, Chas. Richards & Sons Ltd. (Barrie) became Richards Equipment Inc., and began selling Ford Tractors (now New Holland).

2012: Richards Equipment Inc. welcomed the Mahindra line of tractors and implements.

2014: Richards Equipment Inc. begins selling New Holland Construction equipment; including mini excavators and backhoes.

2019: An end of an era. After 90 years as a International Harvester/Case IH dealer, Chas. Richards & Sons Ltd (Stouffville) closes their doors. The Richards Family love of all things IH and red tractors continues. More details to come.
